"Perfect hotel in a great location"
Stayed here for five days while vacationing in the area and I couldn't be more happy with the experience. Quick check in. Clean and spacious room. Access to all of summer bay resorts pools and activities. Good breakfast. Close to disney and other nearby attractions. What more can you ask for. Definitely will be back.
"Good rooms"
Stayed here 2 times on this holiday,Stayed 1 night at the start and 2 nights at the end,The first stay was in a room with a view of the lakes the second stay was overlooking the pool and lake on the ground floor,The hotel was very good in a nice quiet location,The breakfast was of a good quality and a good selection,The rooms were big and had a sink, microwave and coffee maker they were very clean and you felt safe as it is in a gated community,I would def go back when in Orlando
"We wont stay anywhere else."
Besides the fact that the room was just a little outdated. Who cares this place was great. A little hotel within the Summer Bay resorts. Well worth it. Clean, comfortable and a lot fun. Although we were at the hotel and not the resort we were still able to use all of there facilities and participate in the activities. They had 4 pools 2 of which stayed open 24hrs and 2 till midnight. They thought of everything for kids as well as parents and grandparents. The staff was helpful and friendly. They were not banging on my door before 10. People are going to complain about the free breakfast. Guess what? It's free. If you don't eat pork like myself they had other things to choose from. If you dont wont that Denny's and Publix is right next door. My 12yr old had no complaints we booked for 7days 6 nights and not one day did he complain. Job Well done Summer Bay. Thank you Crown Inn. Oh yea they brought the alligators to you. 15-20 minutes from Disney or Universal depending on traffic.
"Vacation"
The best trip we have done in over 10 years what a great hotel resort. They have 5 pools, all Kid Friendly, miniature golf, boat rentals, waive runners and so much more right on the property. our second trip here and this was just as great as the first time.
"A diamond in the ruff"
Perfect place for families! The pictures don't do this place justice, I was way more impressed when I saw it in person. Something for everyone, friendly staff, beautiful grounds. I would definitely recommend and stay again! Free breakfast with eggs, sausage, fresh bagels, cereals, and more. The room we had on the 4th floor was perfect for me and my wife and our 2 kids ages 14 and 5. The hotel is in Summers Bay Resort and you are allowed to use all the amenities the resort has to offer. They have their own beach with boat rental as well as Jet skis. The water-park is amazing for kids and yes us big kids that want to get soaked as well. There is always open chairs with umbrellas to keep shaded. They have a miniature golf area as well as a rock climbing area. They have a 7.77 resort fee when you check in but it is well worth it. The food is pretty good at Big Kahunas at the back pool area with a HUGE jacuzzi. All in all you can't go wrong with this place. I will be back for sure and I live only 30 minutes away.
"Perfect!"
I stayed at the Crown Club Inn for one night in May for business. Honestly I found the hotel through Hotwire, but I was pleasantly surprised. If you are there for vacation there are so many things to do at the hotel that you wouldn't need to venture east to the attractions. There are two pools ( maybe three) a tiki bar, a restaurant complimentary breakfast, a kids water play area and pretty nice rooms. You are actually staying on Summer Bay Resort and have access to all of its amenities. The only thing that was a negative was the wifi was weak in the hotel room. Other than that you can't go wrong here!!!!!
"Great value!"
Not many people spent too much time in their hotel while visiting Disney so why spent a fortune. This was great value. The room was clean, beds comfortable and a great breakfast all inclusive. This was just perfect!
"Great value for this resort style locale."
Comfy large rooms with everything you could possibly need. Excellent breakfast to. Very near to Disney and has many features to keep you busy while on sight. Security gate keeps you feeling safe. Great service and a friendly staff.
"Great Stay!"
We enjoyed our stay at the Crown Inn. The staff was nice, room was clean, and the pool areas well kept. My son loved the pool area and had a separate water park area for the kids which had a slide and multiple many sprayers. The breakfast was average. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
"You won't regret staying here!!!"
My family and I had a very enjoyable experience here. The room was nice. good breakfast and most of all really nice water park for kids my son enjoyed, you get your money worth by just doing that with your children.
"Good, clean accommodation for budget minded"
As Floridians we like to visit Disney several times a year. The Crown Club Inn is in a "not so busy spot" (route 192, Clermont) with many of restaurants and groceries near by. Only 10-15 minutes from main gate of parks. We had a car but there is shuttle service provided.
Our room was spotless with a king bed(very comfy) and a queen sleeper. The breakfast was adequate even with eggs and bacon as well as standard continental items.
There is a guarded entrance as Crown Club is on Summerset Bay Condo property with many ammenities.
We felt is was a great choice for a quick trip during a VERY crowded April
"Great price and amenities!"
My family loved this hotel. The hotel is within a resort, but you don't pay resort price. The staff was very friendly, we were able to check in early. The hotel itself is remodeling and or room was lovely.
The pools were fun and the one behind the hotel was heated. We didn't know about the water sports, so check that out. Everything was clean, no complaints.
The breakfast was okay. Not bad, but not many choices.
The location was good too. You're a short (I use this term loosely, remember there is city traffic) drive to almost anything. Disney was only 10 minutes away. You can jump on i4 and get almost anywhere in Orlando.
Will definitely be staying here again!
"Super for Families Traveling on a Budget"
This was a neat place for families. The price was great. The rooms were large and very clean. The staff was congenial and interested in making each visitor happy. The complimentary, hot breakfast was very good with a wide variety of items which would satisfy everyone in the family.
The hotel is located on a guarded time share resort. There were several pools and snack bars for your convenience. Getting waited on was a bit of a problem at the Tiki Bar, so after a long wait for service, my Wife and I opted to leave the resort and visited one of the many restaurants nearby. There are lots of restaurants, stores, etc., close to the resort.
The area attractions are a short drive away on highways that are usually congested, but worth this inconvenience.
This is one of the best deals for families visiting the area on a budget.
"A Must Stay"
I researched for months before purchasing a trip to Florida with my family (spouse/2 year old daughter) I booked through Expedia and I was overwhelmed with all the hotels in the area and the constant read of bad posts. At the time of my research this hotel had no bad reviews. I had an amazing experience there. I am reading reviews about errors in check ins and with smoking. I think these problems are caused by the booking agencies and not Crown Club Inn AND they are 100% non smoking hotel so complaints about getting booked into smoking rooms are invalid. I arrived 30 minutes before check in time and I had no where else to go and to manager hurried me into an available room so I didn't have to sit in the lobby for 30 minutes. They have security when you drive in which they stand by (you will feel safe here) and the grounds are well kept. They have heated pools and all that was offered online was available to us during our stay (all pictures are accurate). Staff are VERY friendly and customers come first there, they even step aside when you walk by. For the price you pay you definitely get your money worth. Disney and Sea World are a quick 20-30 minutes away and a Walmart/Target are within a mile. Many shops and restaurants are near by. It's close to all the tourists events but far enough out that it is quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.
"Decent hotel with amenities"
I was looking for a suite style hotel for our Orlando vacation. This one was reasonably priced with the added bonus of being on the grounds of a timeshare resort so we were able to use their amenities along with the pool at our hotel. The sunsets from the lakeside beach were wonderful! The room came with a very mini kitchenette, but it met our needs for the most part. This hotel is several miles past Disney's Animal Kingdom so it's not right in the thick of things, not that many restaurants right nearby but we like to get away from the crowds so it was perfect for us.
"Loved the place the first time and back again"
Stayed here while taking a timeshare tour of Summer Bay resorts. This was a Holiday Inn Express the first time we stayed here. The breakfast in the morning is very good, but very busy. If you go before the Disney shuttle leaves the place is packed. We waited and had a nice breakfast eggs, sausage, toast, etc. This is located in a gated resort so walking around in the evening is very safe and comfortable. Will stay here again next time I am in Orlando.
"Resort Stay at a Reasonable Price"
This hotel far exceeded my expectations. For less than $70 per night (including resort fee and tax), this is one of the best deals I've found in the Disney World area. The staff member at check in was friendly and efficient. The lobby was clean and nicely decorated. We had a corner room and it was big and clean, if a bit sparingly decorated. The beds were hard but still comfortable enough. Breakfast was more or less a continental breakfast with eggs and sausage added on. There was a good variety of food: bagels, danishes, muffins, cereal, etc. A family near us asked for a certain type of muffin that they'd had on a previous morning and one of the staff members quickly brought some out for them.
There were several pools on property, including one at the Crown Club Inn itself. The two year old in our party enjoyed the kid's water play area. We also spent time at the pool at the clubhouse. It was well maintained and clean. Although we didn't use the mini-golf or water park areas, they both looked fun. The pace at this resort was much more laid back than any of the Disney resorts or the hotels closer to the parks. People seemed relaxed, in less of a hurry, and friendlier.
I would strongly recommend having a car if you stay at this hotel. It is a bit far from the Universal / Sea World / I-Drive area but you can be to the parking lot of any of the Disney parks within 15 minutes, as long as you are driving and not leaving at a peak time. We did not try out the Disney shuttle. There are TONS of restaurants and souvenir shops in the area and most of the souvenir shops have decent quality stuff. Compared to the other main tourist areas in Orlando, this is probably the least congested area you can stay in.
As locals, this was a great place for us since we were driving our own car, were less concerned with getting to the parks at opening, and were looking for some relaxation.
"Good price, clean hotel room"
This hotel is primarily for Summer Bay Resort to offer free night's stay to people that take their timeshare tour. But, it has nice rooms and a good buffet breakfast. The pool looked nice, too. The price was cheaper than most others in the area.
"Nice Hotel if visiting Clermont"
I loved this small express hotel. However, I was doing business in Clermont so it was convenient to what I needed it for but if you're planning to spend any time at the theme parks or the tourist attractions then try for something closer.
I'd highly recommend this hotel because it was clean, modern and had a very friendly staff. Also, make sure you stay for breakfast because it was really good (though not so much for my diet!).
"Pretty Good"
Staff was great. Housekeeping was EXCELLENT!!! What you would expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel. The property was pretty outdated. Tv's were very old, carpet worn, bathroom old, furniture old, mattress very hard. They do the best they can with what they have, but it does need a makeover. It is located in the Summer Bay Resort area so you have access to all the Summer Bay amenities. Things like a small, but awesome kids water park. A small beach area with water trampolines, giant water playhouses, jet skis, and boats. Also has access to a 24 hour pool, jacuzzi, kiddy pool, as well as several other pools. Tiki bar and mini golf course are a couple more amenities you will have access to. Overall, I would recommend this property. You def get your money's worth. However do not expect Ritz rooms or anything like that.
"Stayed here after leaving Days Inn across Street"
What a great place to stay! Room was immaculate and had lots of room. Bath was large and very clean. Pool was sparkling clear and really big. You also have access to all pools in Summer Bay Resort area staying at Holiday Inn. Breakfast was great. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, toast, bagels, hot and cold cereal, yogurt, coffee, milk and juice. Super place to stay!
"Hotel In A Resort"
Don't miss this one. Although there are scads of hotels near Walt Disney World, most of them aren't part of a large resort. This regular Holiday Inn Express has the standard features of an HIE (shower head, breakfast, good parking, pool, rec room), but guests also have the run and use of an expansive, gated timeshare resort. The resort has multiple pools, some with water parks, well manicured parkways and streets, stores, restaurants. The main resort clubhouse has a 24 hour pool with a bar, which is also on a man made beach, with paddle boat and jet ski rentals, floating trampolines to get crazy on, music, convenience store, right at the pool/beach. The resort has a free shuttle to and from Disney parks, which picks up first at your hotel, so you get best seating. The resort has an attached Publix grocery mall so you don't even have to drive to the store (liquor too). I own two timeshares and my experience is that this is one of the best places I've stayed at, yet I'm in a hotel? Sure, the hotel was full of families vacationing. This is Disney for crying out loud. I was here for 3 days, the week before Memorial Day weekend. If I come back to Disney World, this is the hotel I'm using.
"convenient location and very clean"
The property itself is very nice and clean, staff is very friendly and helpful!!! it's on the grounds of summer bay which has beautiful grounds and you can use their facilities. pools are very well kept up!! room was nice and comfortable. cribs though are tiny. free breakfast was very nice with eggs, french toast, cereals, bagels, muffins, oatmeal, coffee and more.
"Second Visit"
I hadn't been to Florida in almost 30 years. Husband had only been once on business. Stayed here in October 2010 and we were so impressed we came back with our good friends in February. No complaints. Great rates and the resort fee is worth it. We felt safe and the staff was exceptional both times. Rooms are immaculate and spacious. Breakfast was super. We are planning on taking our family back this summer. Our stay here just made us want to return.
"Wonderful Stay and Wonderful Service"
My family and I wanted to stay close to Disney. This resort was just out of the hustle and bustle of the area. The front desk was very helpful and positive. The pool was relaxing. The only two issues we had were minimal and we were OVERLY taken care of by the staff! We will probably keep this hotel for almost every trip we make to Disney.
"Excellent Stay"
Just returned from a stay over spring break at the Crown Club Inn. If you don't want to be in the hussle of the theme park area, this is a great place. You can use the resort facilities and there is plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the property. We stayed in a suite which was roomy for our family of 5. The breakfast was good and the hotel was very clean. The staff at the front desk were nice and helpful. One staff member stayed past her shift to help me check in for my Southwest flight the next morning so I could get in the early boarding group. The exercise facility was nice and the pool great with a wonderful view of a fountain. We did go to the parks one day, but were in Orlando mainly for the nice weather. If you are planning to visit the parks multiple days, you may want to stay closer to the parks as this property is pretty far away from Universal and Disney.
"Fantastic value for money and lots to be happy with"
Having never been to Orlando, it's a hard decision about where to stay. We nearly stayed at HI Downtown but chose Crown Club Inn which was cheaper and in our opinion, had a lot more to offer.
We were upgraded to a suite with an extra sitting area, microwave and fridge. Bed is KS, TV is enormous, everything is spotless, parking is free (lots of places charge a fee), a very good breakfast with lots of choice of cereals, yoghurt, pastries, eggs etc (not just a bagel and coffee) and (gasp!) - even fruit!!
Yes, there is a $7 day resort fee as it's part of Summer Bay Resort but we just counted that as $7 for breakfast, parking, wifi and the shuttle to Disney & Epcot (which are $14 a day parking) so we thought we got out of it cheap. You get to swim in the multiple pools, there are free, freshly baked cookies every afternoon at reception and best of all, the staff were polite and friendly.
What's not to like?
We were so happy with this hotel that we booked it for the end part of our holiday before flying back to the UK.
