I have stayed at this hotel a lot of times and have never had a bad stay, the breakfast bar is excellent, the beds are soft, very peaceful. Across the street there is plenty to do and eat. The beach is only about a 5 to 10 min drive - def will be back

ROOM DESCRIPTION

The sleeping area consist of 2 full size beds, with a small patrician wall separating the sleeping area from a sofa (that opens to a sofa sleeper) and coffee table. All rooms are equip with a 32 HD flat screen TV, microwave & min refrigerator with wet bar and sink, work desk and chair. In the morning the hotel serves a hot complimentary breakfast each morning or just enjoy a swim in our indoor heated pool with sliding glass doors opening up to a deck out.

"Great location & pet friendly."
Clean, great location, wi-fi, pet friendly hotel. Complimentary breakfast was just ok. Below the average breakfast, but better than a continental. They have certain rooms for pets under 60 pounds. Nice heated pool & hot tub. Nice staff. great location accross from Bwy @ the beach. Room has iron, coffee maker, & also a microwave.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Rooms were large and clean and perfectly furnished. Outdoor pool and spa were incredible, although it was a little chilly and windy to really enjoy them as I had hoped. Several restaurants, bars and shops located at the Celebrity Center (is that the right name) just a couple of blocks away. Breakfast was great and we would come back!
"Great Location"
My boyfriend and I visited Myrtle Beach for the first time over labor day weekend and chose this hotel primarily based on it's reasonable pricing. Having no familiarity with the area, we were happy to find that the hotel is very centrally located to the beach and other tourist attractions. The beach is about a mile away and probably requires a drive but the Broadway at the Beach plaza which includes lots of dining and nightlight was just across the street and a very easy walk. The hotel is not particularly luxurious but we found it to be clean and the staff to be very friendly and accommodating. On our first day there we asked someone at the front desk for recommendations and her advice was very helpful throughout our stay. Overall a very nice option for those who don't want to pay the price to be right on the beach.
"Canada & USA Tour 2013"
We booked a two room suite here - lovely accommodation and hotel. Perfectly placed for exploring Myrtle Beach and the attractions. Wonderworks (the upside down house) def. worth a visit for families. Great fun. Also recommend the big go kart theme park - can't remember name off hand but great fun day out for all. Lovely accommodation to return to - strongly recommend staying here.

This hotel was really great. The staff including housekeepers, breakfast staff, front desk, everyone was great. The hotel was clean. The pool area was nice. The breakfast was great, had different variety every day and we stayed four days. The bed was really comfortable. The hotel is not on the beach, but it is located in area close to everything and the beach is only five minutes. The area around the hotel was quiet and away from alot of hustle and bustle, but across the street from Broadway on the Beach.
"Definetely"
Great hotel, great price. If you are looking for tranquility away from the beach, this is the perfect location. However, if you want to be on the beach, this hotel is not for you. Otherwise, I really love this hotel because I came here to relax and get away. I did go to the beach twice and pay only $6 for packing at the beach all day deal. Once I was finish enjoying the beach, I went back to the tranquility of the hotel. There is a beautiful man-made lake right behind the hotel that offer a great view. There is also, a gym and an outdoor pool.
"Family Reunion"
August 3, 2013 Family reunion event. Hotel was close to the Broadwalk with lots of activities including Bars, Show and was a great location for our family reunion. Although I was not able to the rate granted most of my family members( I was late booking), I loved the ambiance of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the overall quality of the facility. Beach was a drive, but worth it. The hotel provided what I expected in a tourist area and would repeat.
"Very impressed"
I recently took a trip to Myrtle Beach for my birthday, and it was my very first trip in years. After finding this hotel online, I had no idea what to expect, but I have to sat that is hotel was perfect and was in a great location, convenient to everything. The rooms were clean and I loved the view of the pond. The front desk staff was very friendly; especially Ms. Deborah, she was absolutely wonderful. I would definitely stay here again!!!!!!!!

I have staying at this hotel for the last 3 or 4 years, I like the location and the staff. The hotel is in need of a refit. The breakfast was good, the room was clean and good. One of the computers needs to be replaced and the printer has issues.
"Pleasant Stay"
Myself along with a girlfriend was visiting the area for Bike Week. The hotel is very close to everything (attractions & restaurants) and was surprisingly quiet at night. I could hear very little noise from the bikes on the road. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. I would stay there again.

"makes you feel at home"
This is a great stop for business. i came to this hotel for one night all the staff were friendly and accomidating. the location is great too, the hotel dosent have a bar but there are so many close by. Lots of restraunts and shopping close by too. the hotel is spacious large. The bathroom felt a bit older but all the furnishings were new and modern. The free breakfast is great and internet service is fast. i will stay here again on business.

The front desk staff is outstanding. Courteous and helpful. Even the maintenance staff asked me if they could help with anything. Friendly housekeepers. Room was comfortable and clean. The rate was reasonable. The breakfast was outstanding. Internet service was available with adequate computer stations. Good location for seeing the sites. I recommend this property and would gladly staff again.
"Good location and rooms"
We stayed at the end of August on a special to tour their timeshare property. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff were nice. It was in a good location -- right across from Broadway at the Beach, which is a huge shopping/entertainment center. It was also close to the restaurant row. It was not far from the beach, just a short drive or taxi ride.

"Nice Stay"
The hotel was much nicer expected. The room was clean and well maintained. Pool was very clean. The hotel is not within walking distance of the beach but is across from Broadway at the Beach. The breakfast was typical fare and we gave that a miss. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend!
"Very nice hotel."
This Holiday Inn Express is very convenient to central Myrtle Beach. You're within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and right across the street from Broadway. Although it's not really within walking distance to the beach, it's only a couple of miles away from public beach accesses. I have stayed here three times, all because my husband was on business. The accomodations are very basic, but it is an exceptionally clean hotel with a very friendly staff and good continental breakfast. The pool is also nice and clean. If you like to bike, bring yours!! The HI Express is right at Grissom parkway and also Harrelson Blvd. which are fantastic bike paths around Myrtle Beach. We would ride 14 miles every morning without being in traffic.
"Great place to enjoy myrtle."
My partner and I checked in on 8/10 and were greeted with kindness. The rooms had an upgrade since our stay last year. Flat screen TVs and the furniture seemed newer. Looking at all the other options that are available while taking vacation, I will continue to trust that Holiday Inn Express will be clean, friendly, and respectful. The breakfast is great an available until 10am, which is awesome. There are some pretty cool attractions in the plaza across the street from the hotel, which are walking distance. Even though you have to drive to the beach, the trip is very short and was not an issue during my stay.

We stayed here for 3 days & had a great time. The hotel itself was clean & comfortable. Very accomidating. Great location. Very close to so many attractions. I would definitley reccommend it for a family vacation or a couples getaway.
"Perfect for our family"
We were here from 7/8-7/11/12. Very easy check-in, rooms were standard and clean, pool was perfect for kids and never crowded, buffet breakfast was plentiful and good, and close to Broadway on the Beach attractions. Would definitely recommend friends and would come back ourselves.
"Location, location, location"
The kids and I stayed at this hotel for four nights and were very pleased with the property. The hotel is right next to the Broadway at the Beach entertainment complex and approximately 2 miles from the beach. We were in town for a competition at the convention center and that facility is also about 2 miles away - so convenient. The hotel itself was modern and very clean. The front desk staff was very attentive and gracious with dinner tips and recommendations. The housekeeping staff was always asking if we needed towels or other amenities. The pool was a good size and there were a good number of chaise lounges and a few tables with chairs of a modern wicker style. Breakfast had a large variety and was always fresh. Parking was plenty and the rate was very reasonable, especially since it was a holiday week. Fair warning, be sure to book in advance - there seemed to be a baseball tournament in town as well and people were being turned away for rooms. All in all it's a great place to stay when in Myrtle Beach, it's close enough to the action yet is a little quieter.
"Very Impressed with the Service at this Hotel!!!!"
We stayed here using points this past weekend. Myrtle Beach was very crowded with summer crowd plus Antiques Roadshow was taping. The hotel was very nice, super people working there and the pool was large enough to swim in. Our room was comfortable but we had a noisy air conditioner. I mentioned it the next morning and it was replaced that day. When I called to complain about money lost in the soda machine, and this was the 2nd machine we had tried, they brought me the cola that I had been trying to get to the room.` I would definitely stay here again. Best service I have had at a hotel in a long time. Everyone we talked to at the hotel wanted to help us have a good time at the hotel. The location is nice across from Broadway, a couple of blocks from the beach. Free WiFi and breakfast was included.
