5 Star Cabo Beach Resort

This resort reminded me of a previous cruise I took. I purchased all inclusive so my food, entertainment and some sports were included. The location is at the far side of the swim able beach so it's quiet. You can easily walk down the beach if you want to be in the middle of activity. It's a great family destination. You get to know others by participating in their activities or mingling in their gathering places. Their service throughout the resort was excellent! It's safe - I hope to return.

My first time to 5 Star Cabo Resort was in 1996. I will continue to return as I always enjoy my time in Cabo. I love the feeling of hospitality that the staff gives. It is great to return and be recognized and acknowledged by the staff members. They always go out of their way to make sure we are well taken care of. The hotel has great pools, a water slide, and beach access with many water activities. It was always a pleasure being greeted by Andres at the top of the beach. He is so friendly and we love to say hello and chat. The market at the hotel has anything you need (even clothes) if you forget something and a great pharmacy with helpful pharmacists. It is within walking distance to downtown or can be an in-expensive taxi ride. The hotel provides night life with differently themed nights with dinner buffets and live shows. There are great restaurants at the hotel. Bella California has an amazing breakfast buffet and for dinner great Italian and seafood with dining near the ocean or a large fire. Giorgio (Jorge) Aparicio at Bella California has always made our dining always a memorable experience and provides the best service to the hotel guests. We first met Giorgio in February 2013 while staying and we had dinner at Bella California every night of our stay. The food is excellent and his service was even better. He knew our cocktail orders for dinner and even to bring chamomile tea at the end of the evening. It was great to see him again during our trip in December. It was my boyfriend's birthday a few days after we were leaving Cabo and Giorgio still brought out a birthday dessert so we could all celebrate. Hector of Bella California (and recently La Tortugas) is also very sweet and came out to wish my boyfriend a happy birthday as we have grown to know him and over the years. La Tortugas is the sports bar and is the perfect place to snack while watching the game. There are multiple TVs and a large projector screen. There is also a great brick oven pizza spot near the pool with amazing pizza. Omar does a great job there. He keeps things moving and is nice to chat with while waiting for the delicious pizza. All this talking about the food in Cabo as me wishing I was there right now. Thankfully with my mom being a timeshare owner, it won't be long until I am there again!!

If you need a recommendation for local dining, be sure to talk with Bell Captains Ivan, Dago or Edgar; they will steer you in the right direction! They all speak excellent English and will send you to some delectable dining spots where the locals frequent. They will let you know the cost of cab fare so you'll always know in advance what your cab fare should be. These guys work very hard and don't make much money, so a modest 10 peso tip will surely be appreciated...and rewarded with more awesome recommendations!

we own a fixed unit on the seventh floor,we love our room location and the floor plan.it does need some real updating,the room and the resort,but we keep coming back for a great time in cabo.i really have to commend the whole staff.our room gets cleaned nicely every day,the front desk staff is very nice,and the servers are especially nice.one server really stood out to us.he is a pool/beach server and his name is norman.he is really a top notch server with a super attitude at all times despite the very hot days he just took care of us and others to the max.he handles large groups or just a couple like us very professionally.he has a vast knowledge of the area and gave us some great and useful info about activities such as a turtle preserve on the pacific side.we went there and enjoyed it very much.thanx a lot norman.i hope he is still there when we return again in october.and we will be back.ken and mary from oregon

We came here on an e-mail special as an "all inclusive" trip. Typically we are very skeptical of such things but decided to give it a shot. Getting through the airport was the first challenge as there were various other reps from other resorts trying to lure you away from your intended resort. We called this the "shark tank" as you feel like a piece of bait here. We did find our intended bus driver and made it to our destination where we were met by a resort rep and we were given our ocean view room aka junior suite or studio as well as our wrist bands which identified us as all inclusive guests of the resort. We thought the room was very nice and came with a small kitchen. Less than a mile from the resort is a Wal Mart and Sam's club so if one was not inclusive they could get their food and beverages and be just fine. The resort has various pools and hot tubs for your use and pool side service at all of them. We arrived on a Sunday anxious to find a place to watch the playoffs and was again pleasantly surprised to see a sports bar with numerous televisions to watch the game. While the bar was pretty full we had no problem finding great seats and were served our drinks and meals while enjoying the game. Of note, everyone we encountered be it staff or guests during our six day stay seemed very happy which led to the overall positive atmosphere of the resort. We would have issue recommending 5 Star Cabo Beach to any of our friends and family wanting a Cabo vacation.

My husband and I celebrated our 10th anniversary at the 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort. We stayed the week after Thanksgiving which was perfect. The service was excellent and we ate most of our meals at a table on the ocean at the Bella California. Two nights we did the theme buffet, which was fun. The pizzas by the pool are very good and we also appreciated being able to order our lunch from our lounge chairs at the beach. We never had a problem getting chairs and umbrellas by the beach or pool. Sometimes we were the only ones in the pool. I had a massage by the beach with Olga and she is fantastic!!! She spent twice as much time as I paid for. Our concierge Teresita was very helpful in planning excursions. We said ahead of time that we were not going to do the timeshare presentation but Teresita through so many incentives at us we couldn't resist. We ended up getting half off whale watching (which wasn't in season yet but she found one company who was doing tours), half off the glass bottom boat tour of the Arch, a free rental car and the gold card. We used the car to go surfing at Zippers in Costa Azul and the next day we went surfing at Cerritos. Cerritos is an awesome spot! Rent boards and do lessons with Roy at the Costa Azul surf shop off the dirt road to Cerritos. The company we did whale watching with was Ocean Riders. Our tour guide was very knowledgable. We saw several whales. Two breached completely out of the water and I was able to take Nat Geo quality pics with my Nikon in burst mode! The timeshare presentation did end up taking almost three hours so make sure you hold out for incentives before giving in and make it really worth your time. The resort is a clean, spacious, friendly hotel in a great location! I had a fabulous vacation!

We stayed at 5 Star Cabo Beach Resorttwo weeks ago and stretched our dollars ... ie, Our room was a fabulous 2br 2 Bath oceanfront unit with huge wrap-around deck with private spa and world-class view. It had a large kitchen with separate living and dining rooms. It even had a separate laundry room. At the pool, our personal concierge (Seor Allucard) was over-the-top fabulous in attending to our personal needs, bringing us fresh drinks and pizzas daily in our reserved Cabana. We've never regretted investing our money in vacations at 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort

In a word--SERVICE- with a smile- amazing-gracious- never say NO- i can do that service. This delightful hotel has trained their staff to say yes-- to say i can do that-- to be helpful to you no matter the ask-- big or small. We were there for Thanksgiving vacation-- the place was full and they handled the load with grace and great attitude. The rooms are time share size- with two bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and bedroom. Right on the beach looking out at Lands End-- the perfect location to town in 5 minutes-- this all inclusive stay was perfect for our family. Lots to do or not do-- the choice is yours. Cabo San Lucas is a grown up international destination--the shopping is amazing-- the weather was great and the meals were international standards. This is really a great deal for what you get. My highest recommendation!

We absolutely Loved 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort........... Our room was on the 8th floor looking out to the Sea or Cortez. Beautiful resort...great pool and beach and beautiful rooms too....we did a 3 day all inclusive and it was well worth it. The staff was great and the location was perfect for us. We spent a lot of time at the resort and totally enjoyed everything about it.

My partner and I just returned from Cabo. This was our first time in Cabo as we usually stay in Puerto Vallarta. We were given a room on the first floor facing the pool but asked if we could have a room away from the pool and facing the sea. Our second room did face the sea and was quiet. The service was very good in all aspects. We had a kitchen and cooked most of our own meals. Walmart is only a few minutes away by bus or a 20 minute walk. We were able to find all the things we needed to stock our fridge! We booked an excursion through Santander to go snorkelling. We had a wonderful time with Cabo Adventures and thank Santander for helping us make it happen. Don't waste money taking taxis as the downtown area is only a 15 minute walk. In fact we walked most of the time and had no problems. We would certainly recomment 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort as a place to stay. Friendly staff, clean facilities and a view to remember.

My recent visit to Cabo San Lucas was exceptional as I was able to stay at 5 Star Cabo Beach, This is in a perfect location in Cabo San Lucas. Close to town and major resorts that you can access to have fabulous dinners and a variety of beach access! The views are right across from the Los Arcos arch and you can access boats from the beach outside the hotel to take a 15 min trip over to the private beach and spend the day, then they return later to pick you up to come back! $10 dollars is such a great deal! Mexico is always a great place to visit, as the value of our us dollar there is nice, and the brand new airport in Cabo is incredible! I enjoyed using the gym everyday, and the poolside activities were fun for all ages.. I even won a round of bingo one day! They offer a taxi ride to town for about 60 pesos.. not bad, and I hear the night life is alot of fun! The rooms were spacious and clean and recent renovations have made it very comfortable to stay for an extended time. For me, the only drawback to Cabo is the water access. the waves are strong and you need to be a good swimmer, they block off a certain area, and you just have to be careful. For a place to go enjoy the sun, sand, food, people, and staff, this is an exceptional place to visit!

This is the second time that we visited this resort. We have to say that the second trip was much nicer than the first. It may have something to do with the location of our room and the fact that we bought the VSP (?) package. The room overlooked the pool area and we had a view of the ocean. It was fabulous. I have to say though, that along with the package came service at the pool. We were contacted by a staff member and told that he would be looking for us around the pool. His name is Alucard (spelling), and better service we could not have asked for. It is people like these who make holidays memorable. The resort is fortunate to have him as an employee!!

My mother and I stayed here the beginning of November 2013. It was our first time to Cabo and and the two of us felt very safe during our enitre stay. We would highly recommend 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort. We thought it had a lovely vibe. The staff was very helpful. Our favorite was Efrain, we appreciated his service and friendly disposition. We look forward to returning!

My Friend and I stayed here the beginning of November 2013. It was my first time in Cabo and what great place to stay. The room was very clean and at night very quiet and relaxing. The staff were very pleasant and went out of their way to make sure everything was to our liking. The food was excellent, beautifully presented with a wide variety of dishes. We especially enjoyed the food prepared by your Chef Roberto Silva. He takes much pride in all he prepares not too mention his hospitality. We can hardly wait to return because 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort is where we look forward to returning. Thank you for such a lovely time. Your Staff is great.

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary at the 5 Star Cabo Beach Resort. We could not have asked for a nicer time, A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. weather, awesome staff and clean rooms! We were on the 2nd floor, I would recommend asking for as high up as you can go to soak in the amazing views of the Sea of Cortez. My husband and I agreed to go to a "timeshare" meeting, I know they don't like to call it a time share but for the purpose of this review I will. We both were convinced that no way, no how were we going to buy....well we did and couldn't be more pleased! Financially it made sense and now it has taken the guessing and scouring the internet to find a place to vacation each and every year out of the equation. Simply open villa resort book and vacation! Kathy from Canada was our sales rep, I really think if we were paired up with any other rep we would not have bought, she was down to earth, understood our vacation needs and no way did she push us to buy up into a program that did not suit our needs. Let us not forget the wonderful Iraiz Vaenzuela, she welcomed us to the resort and we could not have been more happy with her service and friendly disposition! The entire staff was great, ZERO complaints here! My husband and I cannot wait to return with our 7 yr old son!

The staff of this hotel was excellent! Always smiling and very concerned with making sure that you are happy and taken care of. Rosa, the pool towel lady, was so friendly and accomodating. I had missed the turtle release and she emailed me pictures of it....I couldn't believe that she would take the time to do this for me. That doesn't usually happen, once you leave, you are gone! She is a very special person, very kind. I have shared the pictures with everyone and they love them. Would go back here again in a "heartbeat".

My wife and I had a great time at your resort while on our honeymoon, We walked the beach and relaxed by the pool. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, they kept us informed and entertained during our stay. There is always something going on both day & night, the resort is clean and has plenty to keep you busy. The food is great and the service outstanding. We will be going back again soon and can't wait to do more of Cabo. Rick Maggard
