Blue Paradise Resort & Marina

Me and my boyfriend visited Blue Paradise Resort & Marina and were surprised as we didn't expect to be like honeymoon. First of all, we had warm welcome with glasses of San Francisco cocktail. They gave us the bracelets before we got a room, as we come at 12 pm and hungry. Victor store our luggage till we get a room. They gave us a room at 1 pm, and we were surprised that we got a room with ocean view, as we didn't ask nor paid for it. The room was clean, big with a living room and a bedroom. Bathroom was clean too. We had an iron, a hairdryer, a tv, an AC and big windows looking to the ocean. They have 3 restaurants. El Mirador is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they offered seafood dinner, Thai dinner, Mexican dinner etc. and buffet for breakfast and lunch but they can cook for you fish, or pork or chicken, depends of what they have as special that day for lunch, or omelet for breakfast. Italian restaurant Little Italy is open 4 days a week for dinner and they have pasta, seafood, pizza, etc. El Mediterraneo is open 3 days a week, also only for dinner, but you can visit it once, or twice if you are staying more than 7 nights, also you need a reservation. But this restaurant is their best. It's very romantic, the food is very delicious and it's very nice for couples. The bars also offer so many variety of drinks. The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. I like them so much. The beach is beautiful and the sea is so nice. A photographer came, while we were on the beach and he told us that we have a photo session in our all inclusive stay and one picture for free, so we scheduled a photo session and we have so lovely pictures now. The location is very good, as the hotel is on the beach. Maybe the buildings are old, but that's not a problem at all, because it's still clean and comfortable and cheap, too. I have lots of lovely memories from this vacation and definitely I would love to come back again.

Okay, so to all those fussy, posh people, expecting way too much, up to their "standards", I can say, folks, go and ...... yourself... The resort is brilliant, staff is very helpful and kind, excellent service, very good food, incredible view with a private beach of the Caribbean Sea, and, of course, shows every single day. My rating is 10/10 but if I could give 12 or more, I would. LOVELY and highly recommended!!

Our family of 6 just got back from a 7-night stay at the Blue Paradise Resort & Marina and we had a blast and highly recommend it. We are 2 adults and 4 kids ages 5 thru 15 and they all loved it. The 2 rooms we had were more than adequate with a beautiful ocean view, very comfortable and cleaned daily. The food was plentiful and while not gourmet, it did the job and everyone could find something they liked. The breakfast omelet station is great and the pool side snack bar with their chicken nuggets, burgers, hot dogs and fries was perfect for the kids. And me! The pool was clean and cool and refreshing. The swim-up bar in the shade was a delight and the drinks kept coming, fast and as strong as you need them, Weak drink? Get a double! Or ask the bartender to make it strong, they will. A little tip here and there goes a long way. The beach is absolutely gorgeous, clean, plenty of chairs for everyone and they will even bring you an umbrella if needed. Lots of fun waves to play in but there were some less rough spots out there for the little ones. The place is located close to the airport and a short, cheap bus ride to downtown. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE at this resort was as friendly, helpful, and eager to please as they could be. They were all a delight to stay with. And they were all working very hard all the time. We found an employee removing turtle eggs from the beach so they could move them to a safe place away from predators and wait for them to hatch and release them at night and this man was happy to take plenty of time to tell the kids all about it. There is a travel agent right in the lobby to help with any excursions or plans you may have. There is a safe in the room for your valuables. Use it! Once you get your deposit back it's like 10 bucks for the whole week. Head out to the beach at night and you may see a massive sea turtle come in from the water on the sand. Stunning sight. We had a blast and at these prices, if we ever go back to Cancun, we would be happy to stay here.

We stayed at the Blue Paradise Resort & Marina Mar14-Mar21 2013. The staff was very friendly ,service was terrific ! I rented a mobility scooter localy as i am unable to walk any distance,and i used it all over the resort which is not a large property. The buffet restaurant was one of the best we have experienced and we have traveled allot in mexico /cuba /grand camen/canada & the us the food at each meal had a great variety and tasted distictly different from each item.The elecart restaurant was good but not as good as buffet .The seafood soup was delicious! I was most impressed with the staff and how I was treated ,you know a little tip here and there for some very hard working people can go a long way. Samuel in the lobby/angel in the bar /alfonso in the restaurant were excelent.Our room was an oceanview in main building on the third floor and with my scooter the elevator was a reliable service.The pool area was very nice great ocean view.with poolbar.the only compliant is there wasn"t steps down to pool as I am not the best with metal drop down stairrails. The resort was very clean,being an older property.I would definitely stay there again!

It was the best trip to Los Cabos I have ever had. The service was excelllent, when we arrived after 1 hour delay at the airport the front desks staff welcomed us with a great smile! And although it wasnt check in time they gave us our room and offer us drinks to relax. The restaurant has the most delicious food, fish, hamburger, lemonade, club sandwich everything excellent. I will return soon, definetely!

We went for 7 nights from 15 - 22 May 2013 for our honeymoon. Our room had a sea view which we asked for when booking, it had an amazing view, it really lives up to its name of Blue Paradise Resort & Marina, it was like sleeping on the beach everynight we could hear the sea when we went to sleep and when we woke up. there was never a shortage of sun loungers during our stay, the hotel is in the process of being renovated but the results looked impressive. The food was really nice especially the freshly made omlettes and yogurt at breakfast, the hot dogs, and burgers near the beach hut were also very nice. The cocktails were spot on especially the mango margerita, tequila sunrise and the bahama mama. all of the hotel staff were really nice and friendly, in fact everyone we met during our stay in Cancun was really nice, warm and friendly. If you want to book trips go and see Edgar Garzon who is on the beach outside the Oasis hotel his number is 253-24-14 or 044 9981-97-23-22 he is 50% cheaper than the trips we saw advertised elsewhere $50 USD per person to visit Chitzen Itza he is also a really nice guy, we also booked the captain hook trip which was fun, if you go to Chitzen Itza make sure you buy your gifts from the people inside ignore what the tour guide says.

I was there for the spring vacation with my friend. We had awesome time and stay at the resort most of our time. The people who work there are really friendly, especially the guys who are working in the bar. If you want good cocktail just ask for Michael Jasckon , the best!!! The rooms are ok, we got the ocean view. The view is paradise.

I already visited this hotel three times, last time I took my son and his girlfriend. We had rooms next to each other. You cannot find better beach, all workers here are so nice and polite, always help with everything, big selection of food, always fresh, great deserts and home made ice cream, especially coconut ice cream, I ate it for lunch and diner too. The hotel service great, the bar service very profesional, they can make any drinks, especially Victor, we love him. cleaning sevice great, I cannot complain about anything, maybe only the water in the shower was not hot all the time, but otherwise everything was excelent. I am planning to come back next year again. I recomend to book all activities and trips in our hotel, it is much cheaper than to book it online or directly in the places. I am looking forward to come back again.

We are just back from our spring break, family of 4 - one kindergartener, and 12th grader. The resort is family oriented, with great location at the beach - clean, and spurious room. If you need to commute to downtown, you just hope on a bus which passes by every 2-3 minutes. The staff is friendly and going extra mile to make your stay as relaxing and pleasant as possible. The beach is great, sometime the waves were strong but you can't control mother nature, do not expect calm water at all. I wish animation team would be more engaging. Nightly entertainment was diverse and excellent. For transfer we used Best Day which we booked on line 24 hours in advance. They met us at the airport on time and pick up was not an issue at all. Their rep has its office in the hotel.

We stayed in a deluxe oceanview room with two double beds. The room was kempt. The view from the small balcony priceless. We were on the corner of the tower we were in and had an amazing view of the ocean and a long ways down the beach. We went to Cancun to relax and play, and if that's your mentality, I think you'll love the resort. Overall, the staff was friendly and eager to help. Food was delicious and they provide a variety--each night is a different theme in the main restaurant. If you love pasta, you'll fall in love with Little Italy. Have the penne with Tre Formaggio sauce. Loved just floating in the pool and relaxing there. Comfortable and secure location; no fears there. Left our bag with our keys and money in it by the pool and never had a problem. There weren't any kids when we first got there, but even though some came in mid-week, they were behaved. We found the resort a healthy balance--a lot of younger adults as well as middle-age and older ones. My husband and I traveled there alone, but everyone we met (from all over the world) were so friendly it felt like we went with a group. We met one couple who had a problem with the people trying to sell them into buying a timeshare there and ended up sacrificing 3 hours of their vacation with them when originally told it would be 90 minutes. They also had an experience at the spa--one advertised price--yet were charged significantly more. Yet, with all said, we'd go there again.

I went there last week and I love that place...amazing staff and service...the place is beautiful.the food is so great and tasty and delicious ... I wish I can go there again ..the people have so much respect...if anyone ever asked me to what place they should go for a vacation I would tell them Mexico Cancun. Blue Paradise Resort & Marina

I traveled here from the Midwest with 15 other friends (almost all of us were coupled up, including myself) for our college spring break trip, and had an absolutely wonderful time at the Blue Paradise Resort & Marina ! The staff members were very helpful and friendly, especially if you tipped (which you should if you've got an all-inclusive package like we did!). The rooms were clean and kind of bare--nothing special. However, we were there for the outdoors so the lack of decor didn't bother us at all. I recommend a room with a balcony, and for as little as 20.00 you can upgrade to one at any point in the trip. Also, there isn't a refrigerator, and they only provide you with two bottles of water unless you request more, which they are then happy to give you. The pool area was awesome, there was lot to do (including water volleyball, drink bar, snack bar, games, music, etc) and the pool had a very convenient swim up bar that served alcohol until 5pm (which is when the pool closes). The beach is also beautiful, the water is crystal clear and there are more chairs down there as well as umbrellas. I was so relieved to find a pretty spacious beach, rather than a small one crowded with people everywhere. Also, the resort itself is pretty small, so you get to know a lot of the guests there (there's quite the variety). As for food, the Blue Paradise Resort & Marina has three different restaurants: an Italian one that we never tried, a Mediterranean one that you can make reservations for one time during your stay (unless you want to pay more), and a buffet-style restaurant that serves different kinds of food every day. I HIGHLY recommend the Mediterranean restaurant; not only is the atmosphere nice, but the food is excellent, and quite honestly it surpassed my expectations. The buffet-style restaurant is also good, with some food better than others. Anything they prepare in front of you (omelets in the morning and assorted meats for lunch and dinner) is the best, however the pasta and fruit options are also tasty. I'd have to say I enjoyed breakfast the best. A few of us decided to travel to the city to check out the restaurants and clubs there as well. There are buses that run all night up and down the strip, and it costs less than a dollar per person each way. If you're not into the huge clubs that the hotel advertises (daddy-o, senor frogs, splash, etc), then I'd check out Dos Equis which is about a 20 minute bus ride from the hotel (and a 50.00 cab ride!!). The cover is only about 20.00 a person, as opposed to 50-70 bucks a person at the larger places. The Blue Paradise Resort & Marina staff was also very helpful in telling us which clubs to avoid depending on what we were looking for, and which restaurants in that area were the best. If you choose to stay in the resort the entire time, let it be know that all the bars close at 12:00am, and dinner closes at 10:00pm. Overall, this is a great place for young people. Everyone is so friendly, the outdoors are beautiful and the facility is also very nice. I definitely recommend this place.

Stayed for two weeks in the Blue Paradise Resort & Marina and enjoyed every minute, the staff in this hotel were very friendly and helpful from the young lad who dished out the parasols on the beach to the reasturant waiters to the reception staff. stayed for a romantic Valentines break without a clue how to order flowers, Chocolates, or Champagne, i asked the reception staff and EVERYTHING was taken care of for me. BRILLIANT service would definitely go back and will recommend to anyone. it was clean and friendly, it was also convienient for the buses to Cancun and cheap, the all inclusive menu was a fantastic spread of different food with something to suit all tastes. only reccomendation would be to take a large beaker to save lots of trips to the bar.

I read all the reviews of 40-50 Hotels and chose Blue Paradise Resort & Marina . Was I ever glad... What a Beach... If you pay more money and go to a higher Star rating, all their beaches suck. I went on an excursion To Isla-Mujeres in Cancun and all the trip there and back we traveled by all the hotels on the strip. If you want a beach that you can enjoy then this Hotel is The Best. Food. The food was better than I expected and the staff in all three locations were all top notch. Of course if you want good service tip freely. The rooms were above Mexican standards and the cleaning staff were fabulous. When we talked to the other guests you find that the come here regularly. Guest from all over the world make this hotel there home. Some visiting for their 15th straight year. But almost everyone I talked to whad been here before. Made me feel out of place. I know that I will come back to Cancun and will only stay here. The bus stop is one hotel down and they run 24/7. If your worried about crime. Cancun is the safest place I have felt anywhere in the world. Of course if you are going to be stupid and explore outside the Hotel Zon late at night, then you get what's expected.

I've literally just got back from spending my birthday over in Cancun at Blue Paradise Resort & Marina and I can honestly say I did not want to leave. The place has everything you really need. I'm a fussy (REALLY fussy) eater and I never went hungry with the buffet meals, which is a rarity for me in hotels. The steak they cook to order for you is incredible, my friend and I literally were going back for second and third helpings of it all the time. The drinks were great and there was a wide variety of options of cocktails to choose from and if we wanted something particular making the staff went out of their way to make it. The pool was pretty but with the amazing beach and the sea right on the doorstep, you dont even really need a pool at all. The evening entertainment was superb and by far the best entertainment I have seen at a hotel. Rather than the cheesy normal things you get there was acrobats and shows that I really enjoyed. We had a really nice room. Ocean facing and had a great view of the sunrise every morning. Was spacious and really everything we needed as we didnt spend too much time in the room anyway. Last but I think most importantly, from the moment we arrived at the hotel, it was almost like the staff were our best friends. Luna, Mario and all the animation, bar and reception staff were just the best. They really made us feel at home and I have never stayed at a hotel before which has bade me feel so comfortable. Words can't really describe how awesome they all were and how attentive. During our stay we met quite a lot of people who has all been to Blue Paradise Resort & Marina many times before and said they will be coming back again, I think I have now become one of those people who, hopefully in the not too distant future, will be staying at Blue Paradise Resort & Marina again.

First time in Cancun and went with 5 other friends and we went for reading week 2012. The rooms we got had amazing ocean views and were very big and clean. Never a dull moment thanks to Tavo and Raul those guys know how to work hard and play hard. Food is alright, drink selection is great :) Karaoke night is something you definitely have to partake in! Go out with Tavo and Raul they will definitely show you a good time, and if that isn't your scene you can play trivia or beach volleyball with them during the day. This resort is definitely ways away from the cancun downtown nightlife so it won't be as rowdy as some of the other resorts can get.

From the moment we got to the hotel we were treated amazing by all of the hotel staff! We arrived at the hotel 3 hours before check in! The lady at the desk said no problem and checked us in early! The view from our room was amazing and the beach was just as beautiful! We spent a lot of time at the pool bar where Jose the greatest bartender ever always had a smile and a drink waiting! We will definitely be back in the next 6 months to a year!

At first we didnt know what to expect, it was late when our flight got in. We were tired and cranky,but when the sun rose on our first morning. It was the beginning of a fabulous week. The staff was amazing and we got to know them by their names, and they greeted us with ours. Seriously, we left with smiles on our faces, and a bit of reluctance to join the real world. Wewere comfortable and felt cared for. It was a fantastic holiday for my daughter and myself,we want to go back to this place again...Grayline tours was wonderful, cant say enough good things about both Blue Paradise Resort & Marina , and Gray Line..

The best vacation of my life!!! This trip had it all such as variety of bars, nice beach, nice pool area, great activities, friendly mexicans workers. They keep the place clean, always something to eat and last but not least 2 men really made this trip better than average. Tavo and Raoul!!! They make your day fun with great activities, they plan your night by bringing you to the clubs. They provide you with the best tables in the house and bottle service all night. Incredible and funny guys. As long as they work there, I will be go back at least once a year. Great job buddies!!!
