"Another great stay"
I have stayed at this Marriott several times. It is always great. This time we had a two- bedroom suite, room 413. The two bedrooms are very spacious, each bedroom has its own private bathroom. We arrived a day later than planned due to something at home. The hotel was very accommodating of our sudden requirement. The staff here does remember us by name, which is great for a hotel with the amount of in and out traffic that it gets. The beds are very comfortable. We always look forward to our complimentary breakfast buffet each morning. The breakfast staff is great at handling the crowd every morning, restocking food, taking dirty dishes and cleaning up any messes. Catherine is always nice to talk to. The evening Mix is always enjoyable with food/appetizers and beverages. On select nights local restaurants will come in with samples of items from their menu. This hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. You can really tell that the employees enjoy their job. Ashlyn is always very friendly. We love her smiley and happy greeting when we come in from a day of skiing. Charlotte, Anna, Jen and Molly are also very friendly. The GM Matthew is also very nice. In conclusion, I highly recommend this hotel. It is great for families and business travelers alike. The hotel has very comfortable rooms, wonderful breakfast and friendly staff. I look forward to returning.
"Better than expected"
Everyone knows what a Marriott Residence Inn is like, right? Well it seems they are not all equal. We have a two bed suite here for Xmas and the accommodation, whilst not luxurious, is far better than our expectation. Location is good and it is easy to get most places. However, the stand out for us, is the staff. So happy to help, informative and genuine. They have really been outstanding
"Loved it!"
This is our 5th time at this hotel. Great location. Nice rooms with kitchenette and comfortable beds. Hot and cold breakfast every morning. Hot coffee in the lobby 24/7. Indoor pool with hot tub and exercise room. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. This is our hotel of choice when visiting the area!
"Great get away with variety for all"
We stayed at this hotel recently for the 1st time. We were very pleased from the warm welcome we received on arrival to the pleasant good bye as we checked out. There was complimentary warm beverages and cookies upon arrival which were quite appreciated after our day of travel and shopping.
We reserved a family suite which was perfect for our family of 3, although more people could fit in the suite. We had a king and queen bed as well as a pull out. We had a full kitchen which just made it so comfortable and gave us flexibility at meal time.
The free breakfast was great with lots of variety.
The location of this property is perfect with lots of variety. It is close to shops and skiing, as well as many restaurants. Hiking and other activities are available nearby. In case you have a family member who just wants to watch "the big game" the lobby area is designed to resemble a very inviting family room. There is also a pool and hot tub on the property.
"Shopping haven"
We try to come to North Conway once a year for a family get together and shopping spree. This was our first time at the Residence Inn and we were not disappointed. The staff is super friendly and the place is very well maintained. We needed beds for four, and although that makes for a fairly crowded room it was still nicely sized.
The location is also excellent for the big outlet center.
The place does lack some ambience but it's utility also makes it a sound choice if you just need a base of operations! And don't forget to sit by the fire pit - very relaxing.
"Great practical choice for a polar express weekend"
Our family of 5 has stayed there for 2 years in a row, taking advantage of the "polar express package." This includes a 2 night stay, morning breakfast, polar express tickets, and gifts from santa for the kids. Additionally, on Saturday morning, Santa and Mrs. Claus are downstairs for several hours during breakfast time for photo opportunities. Buddy the Elf was there as well. We stayed in the largest room option which was two bedrooms and a living room which has a pull out bed, which provided plenty of comfortable sleeping room for all. The beds are super comfortable. The rooms are clean. There is a kitchen and table as well, which we did not use. The staff was very helpful and seemed to go out of their way to make sure everyone's needs were well met. They all seemed to be hard-working and to enjoy working there. The gifts from Santa were age and gender appropriate and well received.
"An AWESOME 3RD VISIT"
We just returned from another 2 night stay here. A smooth check in with Matt.. 4 people we want to extend accolades to are Ashlynn, Laura & Charlie who ran the early evening "mix". These 3 people were so very kind and personable as well as attentive, making sure we had enough food to eat. Their food at the "mix" was enough to make it a regular meal, which saved us some $$$ from having to go out for dinner. Our 1st night was Chicken fajitas, the 2nd night was meatball subs, ALL DELICIOUS! The 4th person is the blonde haired woman who runs the breakfast. very polite/helpful.
The climate control in the rooms takes a bit getting used to, but once we called down stairs, Ashlynn spoke to Charlie and we were given correct operation control to get comfy. The downside of this place is, no luggage stands in the rooms, and their street sign is small enough that you can easily miss the place, however, if you have a GPS, you should find it with no problem. They're right across the street from the Hampton Inn . We had a 4th floor room overlooking the front of the building and route 16.
The front of the hotel is decked out now for Christmas, really nice. Forget about trying to book this place for New Years 2015/2016, they're booked up.
"Excellent stay"
As another stated, great example of this chain. Room and hotel was spotless, service from the desk to the breakfasts staff and maids were outstanding. In a great location for the area, close to outlet malls, restaurants and downtown.
"A really good example of this chain"
Well run by charming and helpful staff. Especially Jennifer Reed on the front desk who was so friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and well appointed. If you are wanting an apartment style room - this is the place to stay. Only down side was that the view were almost non existent. However all you had to do was to drive half a mile in any direction and the scenery is superb.
"Prime location"
Through a website we secured a large room at less than a third the normal price. The room had a kitchen with two cooktops, a microwave, large fridge and a dishwasher. The bathroom had a full size bath with shower - large, fluffy white towels too! A huge plasma TVs could be swivelled to watch in the sitting room or the bed. The hotel was very convenient for the Conway North outlets and the White Mountains National Park. A basic breakfast was included in the tariff.
"The very very best we could get"
Excellent treatment at front desk and we get the most wanderfool room we've ever get, and for the cheapest price we've spent in our two weeks vacation in N E USA. The breakfast was very good in terms of american breakfast (we are from Israel and we are used to 20 or 30 varietys of dishes for breakfast) .
This hotel was definitely EXCELLENT in all terms
"Fine place to stay in North Conway"
The hotel was full up this evening and the was was crowded. Even so, the room was quiet, large, clean and comfortable. We received exactly what we expected. In the morning, for breakfast... it was crazy. SO many guests (it was foliage weekend) and kids. The staff however, kept up with cleaning tables and providing food for the crowd. So.. a great stay.
"Loved it!"
My husband and I had a king one bedroom suite. It was absolutely perfect!! You walk in and you have a stove, fridge, microwave and table for two. Then you continue on and there is a recliner, sofa and television. Then you go into another room and there is a huge king size bed. Then there is an open closet, a sink and a tub/shower and toilet. There is a door to the bathroom. Everything was nice and clean. I wish we could have stayed longer here. Also, I spoke to the young lady at the front desk. She was extremely nice and helpful.
"Very Nice Hotel"
Stayed three nights in Oct.2015. Had two bedroom suite with two baths living and kitchen. Was perfect for two couples. Nice decor very comfortable. As for me I am a smoker so I could go outside in the evening and sit by the fire pit. Breakfast down stairs was typical average breakfast that comes with the room price. Would definitely stay there again.
"Busy but good"
The rooms are very nice for a mid-range hotel. They are large and the facilities are good. The bed is comfortable. The bathroom is good sized. The staff tries hard and succeeds mostly. The breakfasts are about what you would expect, but they cater to large groups so be prepared for a hassle. They are well located, but you must look carefully for the sign.
"Efficient and convenient hotel"
We booked a double room just before arrival on 9/25-9/27. We received the one room they had left, and that was a huge apartment at the price of only $ 10 more a double room. On the second floor, where we feared noise, but it was quiet. The next day, they filled our request and sent us to a one-room apartment on the top floor. It was very spacious and well equipped. Second night also did not bother us any noise instead. The only drawback was the cleanliness in the rooms that was not perfect. It was mostly hair here and there, and a the rest of packaging that had dropped from the bath mat.
.The service was courteous and efficient. A typical American breakfast...
"Excellent Residence Inn in the heart of the White Mountains"
This Residence Inn is terrific. Convenient, clean, great accommodating staff. Towards the southern end of town so out of the hectic center of North Conway which makes for a good walk into town. Breakfast was substantial and frequently replenished. Nice, comfortable lobby for visiting with family and friends.
"Great find"
Room was superior to others in its midrange class. Large modern very well furnished. Layout of room was well thought out. Impressed by the quality and design of the furniture. Not something you would normally find in a three star.
Service..we called to ask where the ice machine was. A bag of ice was delivered to our room in minutes. Great find .
"North Conway Shopping Trip"
We normally go to Freeport for outlet shopping but we wanted to try somewhere new. Not really familiar with the area and we weren't sure where to stay. Looked to Trip Advisor for advice and came up with availability at this hotel. It was a little bit more than we wanted to spend but it ended up being worth it. Let me tell you why...
We just loved everything about this hotel...We were warmly greeted by Jen at the front desk who promptly checked us in....she had us in first floor rooms but I asked we be switched to a higher floor and she did so with a smile and managed to keep our rooms close by even though they were booked to capacity.
Our rooms were spotless and big!! Great modern kitchenette.....very clean. Used the refrigerator to store our beverages and food items we brought with us. They had glasses for our wine and even a cork screw and bottle opener which came in very handy because we forgot them at home.
The beds were soooooo comfortable. We had a big king and queen bed set up in really cool fashion. Not side by side like most standard rooms. Soft sheets, plush mattress, perfect pillows. Got a great night sleep! Looked at the fire pit right outside my window....did not sit by fire pit as we were not dressed for the unexpected drop in temperature but it sure looked nice from inside! Clean, clean clean bathroom with separate shower/toilet area from sink making it really easy for two ladies to get ready!
Breakfast was delicious....eggs, omelets, sausage, potato wedges, fresh fruit....attempted to make a waffle. They did have yogurt but not in individual containers. Loved the cheesecake brownie muffin! We were very cordially greeted by folks working in the breakfast area...very friendly. Nice clean seating area for breakfast in the lobby. Not too crowded at 8::30 a.m. on a Sunday morning.
Centrally located in shopping area near Settlers Green Outlets....short drive to the village.
A little pricey but overall a great stay and I would not hesitate to stay here again!
"Lap of Luxury"
Wonderful two-night stay on a recent bus tour. Fabulous decor. Wonderful staff who presented us with a gift bag and homemade cookies on arrival. I had a suite with two large beds, a kitchenette, a dining room and large bath. Very, very comfortable. I felt spoiled. The breakfasts were very good: there was a balanced variety of hot and cold food. The staff interacted with guests constantly, and asked them about their daily activities/ planned outings.Simply wonderful!!!
"Great family and dog vacation"
One of the best hotel experiences for my family!
The lobby and main "lodge" area was modern and rustic at the same time. There were living room "cubbies" with televisions that were off to the sides of the main room. Couches, tables, and chairs were all around. A coffee and tea bar was one of my favorite stops every few hours!
Other noteworthy guest areas were: outdoor fire pit, outdoor dining area, nice indoor pool and jacuzzi, and clean gym and laundry facilities and ski lockers.
I always travel with my dog, and he was treated like royalty. A cute welcome gift was included with his stay. Dogs are allowed, we did notify them in advance when making reservation. An additional flat fee is charged for the pet-friendly stay. He was greeted by all staff whenever he was out and about, and lots of other dogs were there. We found many safe, easily accessible areas for walks.
Hotel room was spotless, modern, and attentively cleaned each day.
Many room layout options for different bed/ suite styles.
Hotel is in close proximity to restaurants, shopping, etc. Nice walk to many of the local places if you don't want to drive.
Incredibly friendly staff. Great complimentary breakfast that was perfect for our family.
I can't say enough about this hotel. We had a great stay! Thanks!
"great stay, awesome rooms, comfortable and clean"
This hotel offers what you expect from Marriott brand: great stay, awesome rooms, comfortable and clean. I had a studio, but it was more than adequate for a solo traveler. Very clean, everything one needs. Pool was warm, hot tub was actually Hot (unusual in a hotel). Breakfast was included and good assortment of hot and cold. Service from the front desk and others was excellent, could not do enough to help out. Definitely the place to stay in North Conway.
"Return visit 2 years later"
This was the second time staying at this hotel and it was once again a great stay. The room was the best, it was on the 4th floor with a view of the mountains. The hotel overall was spotless and the staff always had a smile and made you feel very welcome. The breakfast had a great variety for everyone. Very healthy choices of fresh fruit and yogurt and then of course scambled eggs and make your own waffles. The food was always replenished which a lot of times you don't see. You never felt crowded because you could go outside on the patio or inside to a meeting room. The managers meet and greet were very nice too. The first night was chicken tacos with sides, and beverages, the second night was hot dogs on the grill and the third night was s'mores at the fire pit. They aim to please at this hotel. For our stay we ended up only buying one meal a day. We had breakfast at the hotel, a late lunch (which saved on dinner prices and the rush at restaurants) and then snacked at the managers meet and greets. We always ended our night with a cup of hot tea. I would highly recommend this hotel. In fact we already booked a return visit for the end of October.
